Emmanuel has been committed to reaching out in substantive, tangible ways from day one. We have families that have walked alongside refugee families with Refugee Life Ministries. We have people who routinely go into both the Women’s Prison in Shakopee and the Lino Lakes Correctional Facility. We have families who believe in being deeply involved in their local, public schools. We have people with a passion for the local Muslim community. We have those involved in programs that promote emotional healing, such as Boundaries and DivorceCare. And we have people with a heart for those with deep questions and are a part Alpha courses.

God is on the move and there are so many ways you can be involved is sharing His love and the message of the Gospel. We desire to be a part of transformation and healing. We need it. Others need it.     Emmanuel is member of the Covenant family of churches and we invest relationally and financially in our shared mission. Founded in 1885, the Covenant is a rapidly growing, multi-ethnic movement that unites more than 850 congregations in the US and Canada. The Covenant Denomination supports and revitalizes existing churches, plants roughly two new Covenant churches per week, develops leaders, cares for leaders, and holds leaders accountable. Covenant World Mission has missionaries serving in about 30 countries around the globe. When disasters strike in the United States or around the world, Covenant World Relief provides immediate relief and is committed the ongoing process of restoration and development.

    Emmanuel also invests relationally and financially in the shared mission of the Northwest Conference. The Northwest Conference networks and provides support for Covenant churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.  Together we equip church leaders, plant new churches, and assist in church revitalization efforts. We share resources, collaborate in ministry, offer special events for families, children, teens and more.

  • Covenant Pines Bible Camp

    We are part-owners of Covenant Pines Bible Camp. CPBC is a place where people have experienced Christ in an outdoor setting since 1954. The camp covers 140 acres and is nestled between two lakes near McGregor, Minnesota. We’re honored to partner with and financially support this life-changing ministry. We utilize Covenant Pines for events that we host as a church, participate in events that they host has a camp, provide volunteers, and several of us rent their cabins for getaways.

    Local

    Refugee Life Ministries (RLM), a ministry of Arrive Ministries, has the mission to empower churches to walk alongside refugee families with the love of Christ. We desire life transformation for refugees and the church. Teams of 6-15 people from churches and individual New Neighbors are equipped to love their refugee friends holistically as they build genuine friendships, walk with them as they adjust to life in the U.S., assist with practical needs, and share the good news of Jesus through their lives. We have the privilege of welcoming them and walking alongside them as they adjust to life in Minnesota, while finding new hope, new beginnings and new friends.

    Through urban outreach and anti-trafficking efforts, SOURCE empowers the at-risk and unreached to make a break from the past and build foundations for the future.

    We serve the urban poor, homeless youth, victims of prostitution and drug abuse-along with anti-mainstream individuals and emerging artists-all who are trying to overcome walls built by victimization and skepticism. SOURCE has been serving the at-risk and unreached since 1987 in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.

We played an instrumental role in launching Ace in the City, a community development organization in the Powderhorn neighborhood of Minneapolis. We have volunteers that regularly serve at First Covenant Homeless Shelter in Minneapolis. We have families that have walked alongside refugee families with Refugee Life Ministries. We have people who routinely go into both the Women’s Prison in Shakopee and the Lino Lakes Correctional Facility.
