In our James series, we were reminded that one form of sin is to know the right thing to do and fail to do it. One of the clear and present dangers of living in the Northeast Suburbs is that we can insulate ourselves from poverty and injustice in a way that most of the world can’t. The goals of our Unsulated series is to help everyone who calls Emmanuel home become more intentionally engaged in substantive ministry with the poor and marginalized.
