“The best of the firstfruits of your ground you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God.” -Exodus 23:19

We believe that giving is an act of worship and thanksgiving to God. Tithes and offerings that are directed to Emmanuel are invested in our God-given mission here in the Shoreview area and in other God-honoring ways around the world.

We’re more than a bit obsessive when it comes to financial stewardship and accountability. Our members vote on our budget, our staff works hard to maximize every dollar, and all of our Elders receive monthly financial reports from an outside firm.

FINISH STRONG | Year-End Giving
2021 has been a big year at Emmanuel and 2022 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet.  Help us finish our year strong by giving today. Your year-end gifts to Emmanuel make a big difference. Remember that gifts must be received by December 31 to be included in your 2021 giving statement.

BUILD WITH US | Phase 2 Building Campaign

In 2020, our church facility was forced to find a new place to film our worship services.  That search lead us to our new location in New Brighton and we quickly realized that this new space could be the true 7 Day Space we’ve dreamed about and prayed about for so long.  A space for youth group, men’s and women’s events, Bible Studies, Saturday seminars, and so much more.

Help make this dream a reality.

Prayerfully consider how you can give above and beyond your normal giving to the church to help equip us to build facilities that really facilitate ministry.

What’s a “tithe” and why do so many churches reference it?

A tithe (10% of our income) is a frequently referenced starting point when it comes to faithful giving. It appears primarily in the Old Testament portion of the Bible[1], but the practice is affirmed by Jesus in Matthew 23:23.

The Bible teaches that we are stewards who have been entrusted with God’s resources[2]. God’s people are expected to offer God our first and our best[3].

The emphasis in Scripture is to treat everything as God’s property and to hold nothing back when God asks[4]. Presenting tithes and offerings is a means by which we demonstrate the sincerity of our faith[5].
