Serve together as a family and as a church

October 28th the church is leaving the building. Lots of fun and meaningful opportunities for ages 5-99 (over 99 welcome too…)!  Bring the kids and grandkids. Contact Bekah Backman to register. 

Details:   

Opportunities for ages 5-99. Every child under age 12 require 1 adult to supervise them.

The time will include an orientation to UGM, instructions on serving, time to eat, time to serve and end by hearing testimonials of some of the men who have come through the programs.

Options to serve include:

Thanksgiving Meal Registration

• Help hundreds of families register to receive a free Thanksgiving Day meal at Ober Community Center
• Your role could be: helping with registration, parking, managing of lines, hospitable greeting, assisting at the Children’s Activity Table
• Bring your own lunch

Serving a Fancy Meal 

• Serve a Meal to Union Gospel Mission residents and the homeless who come in for lunch at the Men’s Campus
• Your role will be: helping to set up and serve a meal, sitting to enjoy lunch with the men coming in and then cleaning up afterwards

Camp Clean Up

• Grounds Maintenance at Gospel Hills Camp
• Your role will be: to help clean up and spiff up the Camp
• Bring your own lunch
