THE ISSUE OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION

Sex trafficking is a $99 billion industry and the average age of child sex trafficking victims reported missing to NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) is only 15 years old. The United States is one of the top 3 worst places in the world for sexual exploitation. In the Church, 50% of men and 20% of women are addicted to Pornography.

To battle this darkness the people of God are invited to restore honor.  Imagine a tipping point happening when 88 churches and thousands of Christians live out honor in such a way that sexual exploitation becomes unacceptable in the Twin Cities Metro area. What would our neighborhoods look like if we, the Church, loved and honored all created in the image of God whether they are on the other side of the street or the other side of a screen.

Restore Honor Sunday is a day set aside for Christians in the Twin Cities to lead in Honor. They will do this through prayer, worship, and belief that honoring others is a potent work of bringing light to darkness and shifting culture so that sexual exploitation is unacceptable.

We are hosting a viewing party for the citywide prayer and worship gathering Sunday, May 2nd at 6 P.M. in person at Emmanuel Studios or you can participate via livestream.

RESTORE HONOR IS A COLLABORATIVE MOVEMENT- surrendered in prayer- actively inviting the people of God to unite and hono
