We want this series to be so much more than a monologue from the front on Sunday mornings.  We want to hear from one another and our At The Table Events allow us to do just that.  We will have three Thursday evenings in November where we can come around a table to hear from one another

At Emmanuel, Scripture serves as our standard for belief and behavior.  Bring your Bibles and join us as we address the most common challenges to orthodox understandings of sex and marriage.

Difficult Decisions at Home
Conversations about identity, puberty, dating, sex, and marriage have always been difficult.  Today, the questions are more challenging and the stakes are even higher.  We’ll do our best to create a safe place to wrestle with common questions that people are facing on the home front.

November 17
Difficult Decisions Outside the Home
There are very few spaces where there isn’t pressure to adopt a particular stance on gender and identity.  As our schools, workplaces, friends, and neighbors take sides, is there a “right” way to respond?  Let’s search for Biblical principles and share ideas about pronouns, policies, legislation, and difficult situations that we find ourselves in.
