Each of us has a God-given desire to make a substantive impact in our world. At Emmanuel, we don’t simply outsource our outreach. We believe that every Christ-follower is called to reach out in Jesus’ Name and we invite you to partner with us! We’re making a real difference together through our relationship with the Covenant family of churches, in collaboration with our friends at Emmanuel Kingdom Ministries, and in countless other ways.
The Evangelical Covenant ChurchNational & International Partner
Emmanuel is member of the Covenant family of churches and we invest relationally and financially in our shared mission. Founded in 1885, the Covenant is a rapidly growing, multi-ethnic movement that unites more than 850 congregations in the US and Canada. The Covenant Denomination supports and revitalizes existing churches, plants roughly two new Covenant churches per week, develops leaders, cares for leaders, and holds leaders accountable. Covenant World Mission has missionaries serving in about 30 countries around the globe. When disasters strike in the United States or around the world, Covenant World Relief provides immediate relief and is committed the ongoing process of restoration and development.
The Northwest ConferenceRegional Partner
Emmanuel also invests relationally and financially in the shared mission of the Northwest Conference. The Northwest Conference networks and provides support for Covenant churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. Together we equip church leaders, plant new churches, and assist in church revitalization efforts. We share resources, collaborate in ministry, offer special events for families, children, teens and more.
Covenant Pines Bible CampRegional Partner
We are part-owners of Covenant Pines Bible Camp. CPBC is a place where people have experienced Christ in an outdoor setting since 1954. The camp covers 140 acres and is nestled between two lakes near McGregor, Minnesota. We’re honored to partner with and financially support this life-changing ministry. We utilize Covenant Pines for events that we host as a church, participate in events that they host has a camp, provide volunteers, and several of us rent their cabins for getaways.
Emmanuel Kingdom MinistriesInternational Partner
In His Word, God reveals “religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27). Sharing a name and a special relationship with this remarkable ministry keeps us anchored to the fundamentals of our faith. Emmanuel Kingdom Ministries in Juarez, Mexico provides a God-centered environment, holistic care, quality education and a safe and loving home for some of city’s most vulnerable children. We partner with this oasis of hope through child sponsorship drives, collaborative projects, development initiatives, vision trips and more.
Local & Urban Engagement
Emmanuel has been committed to reaching out in substantive, tangible ways from day one. We’ve donated thousands of pounds of food to our local food shelf, we’ve gathered countless backpacks and school supplies for under-resourced families, we’ve come alongside urban ministries to provide toys for kids at Christmas, we’ve stocked a thrift store with quality clothing, we’ve provided furnishings for refugee families and we’ve provided shoes and school uniforms for kids in need.
Emmanuel members played an instrumental role in launching Ace in the City in Minneapolis, many of us have served at the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, and we’ve helped with a number of projects at Gospel Hill Camp right here in Shoreview. We’ve worked with the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, Bridging, Urban Homeworks, and Arrive Ministries. Emmanuel’s members minister in prisons, serve in homeless shelters, work with refugees, support missionaries, volunteer in schools, serve on boards, sponsor children, tutor kids, restore homes and so much more.
We’re most excited about investing our time and resources in ways that build bridges, open eyes and result in lasting, God-honoring transformation.
